Series GRS Grippers Now Available with Spring Assist



PHD's Series GRS Grippers are now available with optional spring assist. Spring assist enhances maximum gripping force and provides part retention upon loss of air pressure.

Series GRS Grippers feature an angled cam drive mechanism and precision ground jaws for smooth operation and minimal jaw play. Units are available in five sizes with two jaw travels available per size, which provide superb adaptability to meet a variety of applications. To ensure longevity of service life, each unit is designed with rugged jaw support, hardened jaws, hardcoated bearing surfaces, and internal jaw seals. The Series GRS Gripper is double acting for use in both internal and external gripping applications providing versatility.

Optional mounting threads, dowel pin holes, and port positions provide added application flexibility to the Series GRS Gripper. Jaw position and simple interfacing with electronic system controls can be monitored through optional 4 mm and 8 mm round inductive proximity switches as well as PHD's Series 6790 Solid State and Reed switches.
