SAS Automation Introduces new GEP End Ported Gripper Arm



Xenia, OH (October 25, 2005) - SAS Automation introduces new GEP End Ported Gripper Arm. This new component is in the same family as the GAF gripper arm, but has the air line connection directly in line with the vacuum cup mounting for use in applications with minimal clearance around the target area. In addition to the space saving benefit, the GEP configuration continues to add accessibility and flexibility to the full line of SAS components. Similar to other SAS mounting arms, the GEP is spring loaded for part compliance.

o Diameters: three diameters available - 10, 14 and 20 mm.
o Lengths: five lengths available - from 64 to 146 mm, for optimum mounting.
