Laboratory-Sized Mill Offers Maximum Flexibility
EXTON, PA, JANUARY, 2003 - Engineered to provide exact scale-up results to production-sized mills, the Wet Grinding & Dispersion Division of NETZSCH Incorporated manufacturers the industry's most flexible laboratory machine, the NETZSCH Labstar®. Interchangeable agitator systems allow the NETZSCH Labstar® to grind a wide variety of materials.
This mill is convertible between the proven NETZSCH TriNex(TM) and ZETA(TM) agitator systems. Using TriNex(TM) disks, discrete pass milling is possible. The ZETA(TM) system converts the Labstar® into a peg agitation system for circulation milling.
The NETZSCH Labstar® is capable of processing batch sizes from 1 liter to over 1 gallon and operates in both horizontal and vertical positions. The Labstar® is also engineered for CIP processes, making batch changes and clean-up fast and easy. A variable speed drive through frequency inverter and optional PLC controls are available. This easy to operate, compact machine is designed specifically for R & D laboratories and pilot plants.
