GRI Pumps to Exhibit Pumps for the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) at Intersolar North America

SAN FRANCISCO, July 12 - Gorman-Rupp Industries will be exhibiting at Intersolar North America 2010 in San Francisco's Moscone Center West Hall from July 13-15, booth number 7851.

Gorman-Rupp Industries (GRI) specializes in custom engineered fluid pumping solutions for the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Product lines include bellows metering, oscillating, centrifugal, magnetic-drive, peristaltic, and piston diaphragm pumps. Flows range from .25 milliliters per minute to 60 gpm, and pressures up to 50 psi.

Located in Bellville Ohio, GRI was founded in 1953. Since then, GRI has focused on providing fluid pumping solutions to OEMs worldwide, thus their slogan, "Not Just Pumps, Pumping Solutions." GRI's reputation and success have been built on innovative designs, customer service, and providing products to meet the exact specifications of their customers. Rather than meeting the broad general needs of a market, GRI's focus has been on meeting the needs of a single customer. Most of the company's products were originally designed for one specific customer then expanded to meet the needs of similar applications. GRI is committed to offering innovative, customized solutions that will positively impact the customer's design, device function, and product life. OEMs in a wide range of industries rely on GRI for pumps and related equipment used in highly diverse applications. GRI's polymer components offer accurate, leak-free, chemical resistant, and contamination-free designs that have proven successful in many applications of various markets.

GRI Products

Magnetic Drive Pumps
Efficient seal-less centrifugal pumps that will not leak and are capable of achieving up to 50 thousand hours of continuous duty operation. Typical OEM applications include film processors, Laser and x-ray cooling systems, medical, scientific, laboratory, silver recovery equipment, and booster or recirculation pump in RV and Automotive Market.

Centrifugal Pumps
Designed to transfer both corrosive and non-corrosive fluids at maximum hydraulic efficiencies. Typical OEM applications include commercial and residential heating and cooling systems, commercial coffee urns, ice makers, dish and glassware washers, laundry appliances, plating systems, agricultural sprayers and industrial floor scrubbers.

Oscillating Pumps
Self-priming, corrosion resistant, have no dynamic seals and are constructed from FDA accepted materials. Typical OEM applications include film and microfilm processors; litho and graphic arts plate processors; detergent dispensing, chemical mixing, medical, scientific and laboratory equipment. Intended for replenishing, transfer and circulating installations.

Gear Pumps
Designed primarily for metering and transfer applications when there is a low flow, high-pressure requirement. Their modular design allows a wide variation of flow ranges with a standard parts set. The materials of construction for bodies, gears and seals, provide a wide range of fluid compatibility.

Piston Diaphragm Pumps
Positive displacement pumps designed to economically transfer small volumes of fluid at low discharge pressures. The lightweight, compact pumps are self-priming, corrosion resistant and can handle viscous fluids. These features make the pumps ideal for high volume copy machines, scientific and laboratory instruments and other chemical dispensing applications.

Bellows Metering Pumps
Operate on a positive displacement principle. Designed to displace both corrosive and noncorrosive fluids. Typical applications include film and x-ray processors, silver recovery systems, wafer and silicon chip washers and processors, detergent dispensers, blood analyzing equipment, industrial floor scrubbers, thermo-therapy equipment, waste removal systems, and wastewater and water treatment systems.

Manufactured Fluid Systems
GRI is equipped to not only design and manufacture pumps, but also complete turnkey solutions meant to save the customer time, labor, and cost.
