Greenheck Expands Utility Set Fan Series
Greenheck’s Utility Set Fan (USF) series has expanded with the addition of the model USFD-100 direct drive utility set. Model USFD-100 can be specified with either a Vari-Green® EC motor with a speed control dial for single-phase motor applications or a NEMA premium efficiency motor with a factory-mounted variable frequency drive (VFD). Quick connect terminal blocks and the prewired and preprogrammed VFD make start-up quick and easy, and test and balance is simple as fan speed can be adjusted with the touch of a button. Model USFD-100 features galvanized or painted construction with a bolted frame and a backward inclined centrifugal wheel. The direct drive construction eliminates belts and bearings so less maintenance is required. Model USFD-100 has capacities of 200 to 6500 cfm and up to 3.0 in. wg. making it ideal for light duty commercial and institutional ventilation.
