Original Press Release:

GS40/60 Series ( 40/60W AC-DC Level V Green Adaptor )

After launching GS12(12W, wall-mounted type), GS18(18W, desktop & wall-mounted type), and GS25(25W, desktop & wall-mounted type) three series of green adaptors, MEAN WELL further expanded our AC/DC green adaptor line and introduced the miniature GS40(40W) & GS60(60W) series that comply with the latest Energy Star regulation and US California Energy Code (CEC level V). GS40 & 60 series are desktop external switchers possess the standard IEC320-C14 inlet as the input connector. With the same 125*50*31.5mm compact size made by UL 94V-0 rated plastic enclosure, GS40 & GS60 are light and convenient to carry and also fulfill the recovery rate of IT / communication equipment required by WEEE that around 92.1% of the unit can be effectively recovered! The whole design is imbued with energy saving and environmental protection concern and can match the design trend of end users' future system.

Very low "no load power consumption" (<0.3W) and up to 92.5% of high efficiency are two main features for GS40 & GS60 to be energy saving. With 90~264VAC full range input and 5~48Vdc different output voltage options, they can be used globally for all kinds of small electronic devices. GS40/60 also passed the LPS test and acquired global safety/EMC certificates per TUV, UL, CUL, CB, BSMI, CE, FCC, and CCC which greatly secure all different applications for consumer electronics, communication industry, and industrial devices.
