American Coolair Adds 44-Inch Grease Exhauster to Line

GAINESVILLE, Ga. (Sept. 3, 2003) - American Coolair's ILG Division now offers a UCBA 44-inch spun aluminum grease exhauster.

UBCA units provide quiet, dependable upblast power roof ventilation for the exhaust of grease-laden air from restaurant range hoods. They are also used in general ventilation applications where vertical discharge of exhaust air is required.

Applications include virtually all types of commercial and institutional kitchens, such as those found in restaurants, cafeterias, fast food establishments, hospitals, hotels, motels, bakeries, delicatessens, schools and military facilities.

UBCA units are specified where a roof-mounted location is desired to eliminate interference with other equipment or activities in the building. They permit the direct upward venting of heated air.

A housing of durable spun aluminum provides optimum weather protection. The overlapping deep-spun venturi minimizes air turbulence and increases efficiency. The aluminum centrifugal wheel is a non-overloading, backward-inclined type resulting in low noise levels.

Backplate fins draw cool air through the motor compartment. The UCBA wheel is secured to a machined, aluminum hub with a line bore, eliminating the need for bushings.

AMCA certified for sound and air performance, the UBCA is listed under UL classification YZHW for power roof ventilators for restaurant exhaust systems as UL 705 and UL 762. Other sizes available range from 12 inches to 44 inches.
