Graver Technologies Membrane Cartridge Filters Receive State of Colorado Acceptance As Filtration Technology That Meets Surface Water Treatment


Graver Technologies, LLC, a leading worldwide supplier of filtration, separation, and purification products, has received the State of Colorado's Acceptance Review for use of Graver Cartridge Filter Models QCR, QMA, and ZTEC-B as a filtration technology that meets Surface Water Treatment Rule (SWTR) requirements for giardia lamblia and cryptosporidium removal.

According to the acceptance letter from the Water Quality Control Division of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, the division has "received and reviewed information for Graver Technologies cartridge filters in accordance with Article 1.11.2 of the Colorado Primary Drinking Water Regulations (CPDWR)." "The technology meets or exceeds the requirements of the State of Colorado Design Criteria for Potable Water Systems," and "is accepted for use as Filtration Technology subject to the performance conditions outlined in Table 1 (Filter Log Removal Credit)", stating "these filters may be used as final compliance filters as part of a multiple treatment barrier approach to meeting SWTR requirements."

The acceptance addresses Graver Technologies QCR pleated, calendared melt blown media cartridge filter (1.0 µm); QMA pleated, calendared melt blown media cartridge filter (0.2 and 0.45 µm); and ZTEC-B membrane cartridge filters (0.2, 0.45, and 0.65 µm).
