Grattans RF Network from Barcoding.co.uk Keeps Shipments On Time

BARNARD CASTLE, England, February 1// -- Leading catalogue company Grattan plc has implemented one of the
country's most extensive Radio Frequency (RF) data capture systems. Supplied by Barcoding.co.uk, the multi-site Wi-Fi network connects 475 barcode scanners with hundreds of devices including PC's, printers and warehouse management systems.

Owned by the multi-national Otto Group, Grattan plc operates an enormous
1.2 million square foot warehouse in Bradford fulfilling orders for the popular Grattan and Freemans catalogues. Barcoding.co.uk undertook RF site surveys prior to installation of 100 Wi-Fi Access Points including a second warehouse in Peterborough and systems at 16 regional distribution depots.
