Grammy Telecast Features Hole Products from McNichols


New LA Live location is backdrop for celebrities and speciality metals during awards show

TAMPA, Florida - March 13, 2008 - Mingled in with the glitz and glamour of the annual 2008 Grammy awards show, the spotlight shown on McNichols Company, if only for a second. The specialty metals supplier got a quick glimpse of celebrity status when its "hole products" were featured in the background during the live CBS broadcast of the band Foo Fighter's performance outside the new LA Live arena in Los Angeles.

The LA Live arena's outdoor plaza is designed with towers outfitted with cameras for security, speakers for entertainment and public announcements, video screens, and lighting. The tower design features McNichols supplied bar grating and expanded metal. L.A. Live, also popularly called Times Square West and The Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment District, is currently under construction in Downtown Los Angeles, California, adjacent to the Staples Center.
