Graco to Showcase InvisiPac® GM100 Plug-Free(TM) Hot Melt Applicator and LineSite(TM) Remote Monitoring Solution at Pack Expo 2015

Technologies optimize packaging line adhesive application performance

North Canton, OH - Graco (NYSE:GGG), a world leader in fluid handling products and systems, announces that it will highlight its new InvisiPac® GM100 Plug-Free™ Hot Melt Applicator and LineSite™ Remote Monitoring Solution at Pack Expo 2015. The GM100 offers all the benefits of plug-free adhesive dispensing in a compact design, while LineSite reduces adhesive costs and boosts production in packaging industry applications through remote system monitoring. Pack Expo 2015 will take place September 28-30, 2015, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Graco experts will be on hand in Booth #C-5440 at the expo to demonstrate the benefits of these innovative technologies.

The InvisiPac GM100 Plug-Free Hot Melt Applicator easily fits into tight spaces and mounts seamlessly into existing packaging lines currently using competitive alternatives. An optional component designed for use with Graco’s InvisiPac® Tank-Free™ Hot Melt Systems, the GM100 is ideal for both original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and end user packaging equipment for the food and beverage industry.

Fast and long-lasting, the applicator features an innovative, patent-pending module tip filter that eliminates nozzle plugging to guarantee more uptime. The GM100 warms up in less than 10 minutes, and operates at up to 10,000 cycles per minute. The GM100 lets users accurately place beads or stitch with great hygiene, allowing you to hit the first bead every time.

In addition, Graco’s new LineSite™ remote monitoring solution will be on display in the booth. LineSite, also designed for use with the InvisiPac system, lets users take control of hot melt dispensing equipment, keeping them in touch with operations by viewing the status of InvisiPac hot melt machines on the plant floor from a smart phone, tablet, or computer. With LineSite, operators can be confident of production quality by observing real-time performance and system parameters such as temperatures, critical performance metrics, adhesive usage, and machine diagnostics. Email notifications are sent when alarms or system setup changes occur, allowing users to respond immediately to potential faults and diagnose them remotely, helping to prevent issues from causing downtime.
