Visitors to the booth can see the InvisiPac System, ideal for reducing adhesive costs (sometimes up to 50%) and boosting factory production in packaging industry applications. With no tank char, no nozzle plugging and warm up times of less than 10 minutes, the InvisiPac system is a trusted, proven alternative to traditional hot melt tanks in any packaging application, including both original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and end user installations in the food and beverage industry.
Along with the system, OBX Works will also be exhibiting new advancements including the InvisiPac LineSite™ Remote Monitoring Solution for optimal process control, the InvisiPac GM100 Plug-Free™ Hot Melt Applicator, which offers all the benefits of plug-free adhesive dispensing in a compact design and the InvisiPac Pattern Control System, which allows operators to place the correct amount of adhesive in exactly the right location.
The InvisiPac LineSite monitor lets users take control of hot melt dispensing equipment, keeping them in touch with operations by viewing the status of InvisiPac hot melt machines on the plant floor from a smart phone, tablet, or computer. With the LineSite monitor, operators can be confident of production quality by observing real-time performance and system parameters. Check temperatures, review critical performance metrics, view how much adhesive each line is using, and monitor machine diagnostics to prevent issues from causing downtime. When alarms or system setup changes occur, the LineSite system sends immediate email notifications so users can respond to potential faults and diagnose them remotely.
The InvisiPac GM100 Plug-Free Hot Melt Applicator easily fits into tight spaces and mounts seamlessly into existing packaging lines currently using competitive alternatives. An optional component designed for use with Graco’s InvisiPac Tank-Free Hot Melt Delivery System, the GM100 applicator is ideal for both original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and end user packaging equipment for the food and beverage industry. The GM100 applicator features an innovative, patent-pending module tip filter that eliminates nozzle plugging to guarantee more uptime. The GM100 applicator warms up in less than 10 minutes, and operates at up to 10,000 cycles per minute.
The InvisiPac Pattern Control System on display is designed for use with the InvisiPac Tank-Free Hot Melt System or independently with any other hot melt equipment. The cost-saving technology improves overall productivity by providing operators the flexibility to adapt quickly to changes in packaging operations. Users can easily convert from a solid adhesive bead to a stitched bead. Stitching can be turned on or off with the push of a button, and operators can easily stitch individual beads or the entire pattern. The result can be dramatic adhesive savings without any sacrifice in product quality.
