GPC/SEC Columns provide analysis in less than 10 min.

Press Release Summary:

Suited for analysis of organic and water soluble polymers, PL Rapide Series includes 100 x 10 mm columns, which cover complete spectrum of molecular weight and can be used at flow rates as high as 3.0 mL/min. Typical applications include high-throughput screening from combinatorial synthesis experiments and rapid process monitoring where trends are more important than high resolution and precise analyses.

Original Press Release:

New Rapid GPC/SEC Columns from Polymer Laboratories for High Throughput Screening & Process Monitoring - PL Rapide

For high speed GPC/SEC applications where time is the most critical factor in the analysis, Polymer Laboratories has launched a new range of columns designed specifically for this purpose, the PL Rapide range.

Packed with high resolution media, this range covers the complete spectrum of molecular weight. Columns are available for the analysis of both organic and water soluble polymers. Key benefits of PL Rapide columns are analyses in <10 minutes and significantly increased sample throughput. Typical applications include high throughput screening from combinatorial synthesis experiments and rapid process monitoring where trends are more important than high resolution and precise analyses.

The PL Rapide series includes 100x10mm column dimensions for rapid analysis in 1-2 minutes. The large diameter increases peak volumes to offset broadening related to instrument dead volume. PL Rapide 100x10mm columns can be used at flow rates as high as 3.0ml/min, which in conjunction with the short column lengths, gives a 10-15 fold decrease in total analysis time over conventional GPC.

PL Rapide 100x10mm columns have been developed under license from Symyx Technologies, Inc.
