GoWare DoMo Powers Claria's New PersonalWeb Mobile

ORLANDO, Fla., March 26 -- CTIA Wireless -- GoWare, Inc., today announced that Claria Corporation has chosen GoWare's mobile portal technology platform, DoMo, to power its new PersonalWeb Mobile. Claria's PersonalWeb Mobile is fully-integrated with GoWare's DoMo to bring Claria's Web personalization platform to mobile phone users.

DoMo's open architecture lets third-party developers create plug-ins to applications and Web services for greater customization and mobile capabilities. Although easy for developers to create and launch, plug-ins also represent a significant opportunity for content-owners and application developers to monetize delivery to the growing mobile channel.

"We're thrilled Claria chose us to power their new mobile offering," said Jason Thibeault, co-founder and CTO of GoWare. "The DoMo's open architecture design gives third-party developers a simple and cost-effective solution for creating mobile editions of their applications to address the rapidly growing mobile market. Developers can significantly extend the functionality of their applications by offering their users the opportunity to mobilize their data."

To preserve the Claria PersonalWeb user experience, Claria chose to integrate with DoMo through DoMo's API structure. With over 30 different API calls, DoMo makes it easy for developers such as Claria to fully integrate the DoMo mobile functionality into their applications thereby providing a mobilization feature without having to code it themselves.

"Through the DoMo platform, GoWare has provided us an opportunity to extend our personalization platform to mobile devices" says Scott Vandevelde, CEO of Claria. "They allowed us to focus on our core technology but helped us to address a significant strategic initiative -- mobilizing our platform."

GoWare's consumer offering DoMo HomePage is also created on the DoMo platform. DoMo HomePage is a personal mobile portal that takes the frustration out of using the mobile phone for Web and PC access by letting mobile phone users create personalized mobile portals for convenient delivery of content through a single page on their mobile browsers. Using any browser, DoMo makes it possible for users to access a mashup of Web content (news, blogs, podcasts), PC files (documents, photos, music), and application data (email from Outlook, financial data from QuickBooks), quickly and easily from their mobile phone. The DoMo HomePage beta is available free at www.domohomepage.com.
