New Ansell Armorknit(TM) Products Boost Comfort, Protection
COSHOCTON, Ohio (April 29, 2003) - Ansell introduces ArmorKnit(TM) gloves and sleeves for greater comfort, cut resistance and protection. Made from 100 percent Kevlar® Armor and standard Kevlar, these products are ideal for work environments requiring protection from sharp, jagged edges, sparks and flames.
ArmorKnit gloves and sleeves offer comfort and flexibility for a variety of applications, including metal fabrication, machinery, glass handling, automotive, paper and white goods assembly. Studies show that ArmorKnit mediumweight gloves provide twice the cut resistance as standard mediumweight and heavyweight cut resistance gloves without the bulk.
"Ansell developed the ArmorKnit line by combining the new DuPont Kevlar Armor technology with its own expertise to produce a comfortable and cost effective product," said Keitha Kessler, Ansell Business Development Manager.
ArmorKnit products are available in three styles:
o 70-700: 100 percent Kevlar Armor/standard Kevlar plated style; available in sizes 7 to 10.
