New from U. S. Para Plate Series 5080 Manual Globe Valves
U. S. Para Plate of Auburn, CA announces the addition of a new Manual Globe Valve Series to their extensive line of APCO valves and pressure controls.
The new design offers zero leakage over the complete pressure range of 0 to 6,000 psi. A unique seat design allows for the valves to be used in metering, throttling, or full open or closed operation. The plastic seat is encapsulated to protect against wire drawing and other possible damage. The Teflon seat and 316 stainless body assure compatibility with most gases and liquids. Low operating torque makes these valves easy to operate, even with the large Cv of 3.79 in the 3/4" and 1" sizes.
Sizes are 3/4" or 1" with NPT or MS33649 tube connections. Ambient and cryogenic designs are available for temperatures ranging from -420°F to +450°F.
These valves are excellent manual flow control devices where dead tight shutoff is required. In all applications, they are used in panels and piping for metering, throttling or shutoff of gases or liquids.
