Global Terminals Installs Phoenix LED Lighting on 20 ASCs
MILWAUKEE, WI USAÂ – Phoenix Products Company Inc. — a lighting manufacturer located in Milwaukee, WI — has supplied ModCom Hi 300W LED floodlights for 20 ASCs at Global Terminals in New Jersey. The project encompasses a total of 160 fixtures for all the ASCs, which have been supplied by Konecranes.
Global Terminals is the first terminal in the New York/New Jersey area to utilize automated cranes. Phoenix's LED lighting is optimizing this equipment by providing technology that remains off unless lighting is required. Traditional lighting does not provide this option due to long on/off cycles. Phoenix's LED fixtures will allow Global Terminals to reduce their lighting-related energy use by over 95% compared to traditional options.
The ASCs at Global Terminals have been operational since April, however, the terminal's grand opening was celebrated on Wednesday, June 18th.
