New Interna-Rail® VUE(TM) Glass Railing System Maximizes Visibility and Transparency
CINCINNATI, OH – Hollaender® Manufacturing has introduced the new post mounted Interna-Rail VUE glass railing system. The handrail system is constructed using Hollaender’s aluminum Interna-Rail handrail, glass or acrylic panels, and Hollaender’s panel clips and bottom support channels. The modular system is simple-to-install, maximizes visibility through the handrail, and is a more cost effective alternative than stainless systems.
Interna-Rail is an in-line pipe and fitting based handrail system that combines the clean look of welded rail with all the benefits of a mechanical system. 3/8 inch tempered glass or acrylic resin panels are easily attached to the railing pipe or posts using Hollaender’s panel clips and support channels. No expensive drilled holes are required in the panels, and they can be installed facing toward or away from the walking surface. The only drilling required on an installation is on the floor, in corners and end conditions. The system also requires no mid-rails allowing for maximum transparency though the handrail.
All Interna-Rail fittings and pipe come standard with a clear anodized finish on dark bronze aluminum. Optionally, the system can be powder coated to AAMA 2604 specifications, or Kynar® coated. They can be designed to meet any building code and are being used throughout the world in architectural, public works, and stadium applications.
