Gibraltar's New Anti-Ram Barriers Receive USACE DOD Barrier List Acceptance
Eight New Products Listed on June 2017 DOD Anti-Ram Barrier List Release
MARBLE FALLS, Texas, July 12, 2017 - Gibraltar, a leading manufacturer of anti-ram vehicle barriers used across the globe has announced that it has received approval of eight new anti-ram barrier systems by the USACE Protective Design Center. These new barriers are listed on the June 2017 release of the Department of Defense (DOD) Anti-Ram Vehicle Barrier List.
"Gaining the approval of DOD for these barriers allows for us to protect federal sites, compete in the marketplace, and provide quality products at a cost-effective price point to the government," says Joseph Hauss, Business Development Manager for Gibraltar's Anti-Vehicle Barrier Division.
The barriers that have been approved are designed and used to protect facilities, assets and personnel from vehicular attack or errant vehicles leaving the roadway. Gibraltar has now successfully performed ASTM F2656 test certifications on 15+ different types of anti-ram vehicle barriers, with 15 of their current products listed on the USACE DOD Anti-Ram Vehicle Barrier List.

G-5500 Anti-Ram Sliding Gate – ASTM F2656-07 M50 P2 Certified
G-1350 Standard Foundation Bollard – ASTM F2656-07 M50 P1 Certified
G-FORCE M30 Post & Beam Anti-Ram Fence – ASTM F2656-07 M30 P1 Certified
G-FORCE M40 Post & Beam Anti-Ram Fence – ASTM F2656-07 M40 P2 Certified
G-FORCE M50 Post & Beam Anti-Ram Fence – ASTM F2656-07 M50 P1 Certified
