Get Twice As Clean with Aqueous Technologies in Two Stands at Productronica

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA — Aqueous Technologies will exhibit with its partner in Hall A2, Stand 558 at the 20th international Productronica International Trade Fair, scheduled to take place November 12 - 15, 2013 at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre in Munich, Germany. Company representatives will demonstrate the Trident XLD Zero Discharge Defluxing and Cleanliness Testing System and Zero Ion Ionic Contamination Tester.

The Trident XLD is the industry's environmentally responsible fully automated defluxing and cleanliness testing system. The Trident XLD is capable of removing all flux types including no-clean, rosin and water soluble. The Trident XLD is capable of operating with a variety of environmentally safe defluxing chemistries frequently required for specific types of flux removal. The Trident XLD provides automatic cleaning, cleanliness testing, drying, chemical dosing, complete assembly specific SPC via bar-code scanning, and operates without sending any water to the drain. It is exceptionally fast, with an average total cycle time of less than 30 minutes. Additionally, the Trident XLD can clean one month's worth of production while consuming less than ten gallons (38 liters) of water, all of which is lost to normal evaporation.

The Zero-Ion is designed to test electronics assemblies for ionic contamination. The cleanliness tester automatically removes and detects contamination on an electrical assembly or bare board and provides quantitative contamination measurements. It uses a dynamic technology that provides automatic regeneration of the machine's test solution, maintaining a high degree of test solution sensitivity. The Zero-Ion meets the requirements of military and commercial cleanliness testing standards including MIL 2000A, IPC test method 001, MIL-C-28809, MIL-P-55110 and IPC TM650-2.3.26.

Additionally, Aqueous Technologies' Trident XLD Zero Discharge Defluxing and Cleanliness Testing System will be fully operational and cleaning assemblies in the “Cleaning and Contamination Testing Center” in Hall A2, Stand 429 during the four-day event. The center will provide practical support to visitors keen to implement new cleaning and contamination monitoring processes as well as overcome reliability failures.
