GEOCOMtms Announces A.MAZE Foundation(TM)

Company Speeds Integration of Fleet Management Software With Enterprise Applications

Atlanta, Georgia - July 24, 2006 - GEOCOMtms, a global provider of fleet management solutions for local pickup and delivery, announced today the delivery of A.MAZE Foundation(TM), an advanced integration platform that makes it possible to quickly and easily connect the company's fleet management system with other third-party software. The technology is being offered as a standard component of all GEOCOMtms applications.

"One of the biggest challenges that companies face when implementing new applications is trying to integrate them with existing systems," said Michael Nark, president and chief executive officer of GEOCOMtms. "The ability to connect A.MAZE Fleet Management with other solutions the customer depends on significantly enhances the value of their technology investments. For the first time, an organization can get a unified view of their order-to-cash cycle, which means unprecedented control of what is happening in the business."

A.MAZE Foundation is an integration platform that enables multiple applications to share information and functionality across an enterprise. The platform leverages Microsoft's .Net framework and COM+ technology to provide a unified service that interacts directly with other A.MAZE services. External applications can be coupled to this platform, making it possible to exchange information between the two systems. This approach eliminates the need to develop custom APIs for each application, a time consuming and error prone activity, while also ensuring data integrity within the central A.MAZE database.

An example scenario for using A.MAZE Foundation would be a customer that wants to integrate A.MAZE Planning with a third-party GPS solution in order to get a real-time view of driver performance. In most cases, this is extremely difficult. A.MAZE Foundation overcomes the obstacles, opening up the route planning application to receive continuous data feeds, such as latitude and longitude coordinates, from the tracking application. This information can then be displayed on a single map, along with the planned route, giving the dispatcher a clear picture of where each driver is in relationship to his assigned stops.

Another example is an organization that wants to take advantage of electronic signature capture functionality within A.MAZE Mobile to help minimize customer billing disputes and speed payment. The mobile application can be integrated with the company's accounting system via A.MAZE Foundation so that signatures captured in the field can be kept on file and associated with a specific order and delivery quantity. This process can also trigger automatic customer invoicing.

"GEOCOMtms offers the only fully integrated Fleet Management system that connects mobile and tracking applications with planning, dispatch, and maintenance," said Serge Massicotte, GEOCOMtms' Director of Product Management & Development. "We originally developed A.MAZE Foundation for internal use. Too many software vendors make integrating their applications with third-party software difficult. GEOCOMtms tries to stay focused on what's best for the customer, which is why we're making this technology available."
