Tyco Electronics Expands Relay Product Line With New Low Cost General Purpose Relay
HARRISBURG, Pa., January 7 - Tyco Electronics recently introduced the OEG PCLH-2 series relay. The PCLH-2 is capable of switching loads up to 15 amps at 120 VAC, resistive. It is designed for use in electrical panels, factory automation equipment and other industrial controls. PCLH-2 relays are enclosed and offer plug-in terminals for socket mounting or can be equipped with printed circuit terminals for board mounting.
Silver alloy contacts are offered in a two form C (double pole, double throw) arrangement. In addition to the 15 amp contact rating, the PCLH is rated for 10 amps at 250 VAC or 30 VDC.
AC and DC coils are available for the PCLH-2. AC coils are available for 6 through 240 volts and DC coils from 6 through 110 volts. Nominal coil power requirements for AC coils is 1.2VA @ 60Hz. DC coils require roughly 900mW. Pricing for a two form C PCLH-2 with a 12-volt DC coil and plug-in terminals is priced at $2.74 in 1,000 piece quantities. Discounts are available for higher quantities.
