Wilcoxon Releases New General Purpose Accelerometer with Integral Cable



Gaithersburg, MD, March 2004 - Wilcoxon Research, a leading supplier of quality vibration sensors and related equipment, announces the release of a new general-purpose accelerometer with integral cable.

This accelerometer, model number 786F, is ideally suited for submerged, high temperature, or other harsh environments where the use of a connector could introduce contaminants to the sensor. It is hermetically sealed and rated to 100psi, enabling installations in up to 200 feet of water. The Teflon-jacketed cable withstands temperatures up to 150 degrees C.
