General Plastex Announces On-Site Screw & Barrel Inspection Service
Barberton, OH: General Plastex, a designer, manufacturer and re-manufacturer of screws, barrels, valves and components for the plastics and rubber industries has recently announced a progressive on-site screw and barrel inspection service.
In order to meet the polymer industry's ever increasing demands for quality product at a lower cost, processors need to evaluate their processing systems and problems. The General Plastex Inspection Service takes a detailed inspection of the customer's processing equipment to help determine the cause of poor part quality or reduced output. By coming to the customer's facility, there are savings of thousands of dollars and hours of downtime to evaluate the customer's screws and barrels. This advanced program also allows for bore gauging of barrels right on the premises.
