Original Press Release:

Bison Proudly Introduces Model 562!

Introductions...
Using the same high quality components that have set the industry standards for over forty years, Bison is proud to introduce our new 562 series hollow shaft gearmotor.

Robusticity(TM)...
Increased low speed center distance, coupled with greater clearance for wider faced gears, the 562 allows users to obtain close to twice the continuous torque ratings! (1100 in-lbs. continuous vs. competitor's 600 in-lbs.) Also, the 562 offers an optional 4th stage of gear reduction; providing ratios up to 2200:1 in the same envelope, allowing for a smaller input motor without sacrificing output torque.

Options...
Following in the tradition of our right angle 750, the Bison 562 features our hollow shaft options with multiple mounting configurations. The 562 is offered with various AC and DC input motors, including 3-phase and inverter duty. The 562's ¾" diameter hollow bore allows for interchangeable shaft designs; including materials made of stainless steel.

This option enables users to mount the 562 to various applications and/or competitive units. The hollow bore may also be splined, hex, or designed for other custom direct-
coupled drive shafts. Bison's manufacturing expertise guarantees that you receive the gearmotor you need.
Go ahead. Build it your way!

Additional Features...
o Precision machined aluminum castings vs. competitor's non machined zinc castings
o All needle and ball bearing shaft support vs. competitors' sleeve bearing support
o All steel, heat treated gearing and pinion shafts
o Heavy duty single lip, spring loaded oil seals with lifetime lubrication
