Plymouth, Minnesota: Zero-Max "Crown" gear drives provide directional motion change in all types of power transmission systems. Compact and sealed from contaminants, these gear drives feature class 10 spiral bevel gears and non-magnetic stainless steel shafts.

Ideal for a wide range of horsepower, torque and shaft speed requirements, these right angle drives are available in standard two and three way models with 1:1 and 2:1 speed ratios.

Zero-Max Crown drives are designed for long and trouble-free operation. They have hardened spiral bevel drive gears that are permanently mounted to the shafts with locking pins. This provides a resilient and durable connection for use in heavy load applications with no maintenance required.

Because these drives are pre-lubricated and completely enclosed, they operate smoothly and quietly in most environments. Internal gears stay permanently aligned, lubricated and free of contamination from outside dirt and debris.

Applications include packaging machinery, food processing systems, printing presses, surface mount assembly systems, and vehicular assembly systems, to name a few.

Optional features include different shaft configurations, case modifications for special mounting requirements, and special finishes including choice of colors. Shaft options include squared, splined, extended, shortened, stepped and combinations. Case modifications include machining of special mounting flanges and mounting holes.
