Free Trial System Provides Industry-Leading Proficy(TM) Historian and Proficy Portal Software To Identify and Fix Leaks in Production
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA, MAY 25, 2007 GE Fanuc Automation, a unit of GE Industrial, today announced a new Enterprise Manufacturing Intelligence (EMI) Trial System that allows users to quickly identify and fix leaks in production to increase throughput, improve quality and decrease costs. The new program offers a free, limited-time-usage CD with the latest versions of GE Fanuc's industry-leading Proficy(TM) Historian and Proficy Real-Time Information Portal applications, along with a built-in sample data system to get started.

Proficy Historian provides a robust, high performance plant data repository proven invaluable for collecting, storing and archiving large volumes of data as the foundation for local or corporate EMI initiatives. Able to store all types of process data, Proficy Historian also allows users with multi-plant operations to establish a common, standard foundation of data across plants, business units or the entire enterprise.
Bundled with Proficy Historian for this trial program, GE Fanuc's Portal provides a web-based window into key performance metrics so users can operate their business more efficiently. Its sophisticated trending and reporting capabilities take advantage of the high performance data storage ability of Proficy Historian, allowing focus on continuous improvement.
