GDS Exhibits Latest Industrial Displays at SID 2006

Global Display Solutions (GDS) Ltd., market leader in the design and manufacture of industrial displays will be exhibiting at the Society for Information Display (SID) conference 2006, June 4-9, San Francisco on booth # 634. During SID 2006, GDS will exhibit its outdoor e-Signage collection consisting of four sized monitors; the latest indoor e-signage monitor; GDS's Touchscreen LCD Display and an outdoor High Brightness Monitor.
GDS's displays from its Outdoor e-Signage range are available in 65", 46", 32" and 17" sizes. These innovative displays are readable in full sunlight, have extremely high resolution and are designed to operate 24 hours a day. The design of these new colour TFT displays makes them ideal for use in outdoor applications such as railway stations, airports, bus stations, theme parks, shopping malls and other passenger information and advertising functions. This range of displays is totally weather-proof and vandal-proof, with the frontal Advanced Optical Enhancement (AOE) treatment providing numerous performance improvements including high contrast, no condensation, no dust, no reflection and parallax problems.
Also exhibiting on booth # 634 will be GDS's 37" Touchscreen e-Signage display for indoor applications. This display provides endless opportunities for promotion, information and brand-awareness and utilizes integrated optical imaging technology which enables the user to interact with the display by touch. The technology recognizes where the user places their finger on the screen through an infra-red illuminated frame and custom line-scan cameras to determine touchpoint. The touch can be registered up to 1mm before physical contact on the screen's surface.
GDS will also be exhibiting its 46" indoor e-Signage monitor for indoor signage and AV presentation, its 15" High Brightness Monitor with DVI/Analogue input and auto dimming and its Enhanced 12.1" High Brightness XGA Display with optically bonded touchscreen.
