Welker GB2 Ground Block Retract Cylinder for Improved Weld Quality

Welker ground block cylinders offer a cost advantage over machined backups & spring ground blocks for MIG and arc welding applications. Weld consistency is improved by producing a consistent ground even after significant electrode wear.

The GB2 is electrically insulated and pneumatically actuated, available in 25 and 50mm retract stroke lengths to allow easy part removal or transfer. Part contact pressure can be adjusted with an inline NPT regulator, producing contact forces as low as 45 lbf. Ideal for thin materials or space constrained grounding applications. Weld field immune cylinder switch is adjustable to sense extend and retract. The GB2 features a lube-free design, double seals, and bi-directional mounting. Class 2 copper adapter is offered with choice of smooth, knurled, or projection swivel head.
