New Tanker®B Series Gas Springs Combine High Performance and Long Life Features with High Force



Brecksville, OH-Hyson Products, a business of Barnes Group Inc., introduces Tanker®B (TNKB), the latest generation of the Tanker® gas spring series that was introduced in 1985. The new springs offer 25% to 35% more force than the Super Tanker® gas springs they replace.

The TNKB features patented dynamic lubrication to reduce heat build-up and extend spring life, a bore seal to resist contamination and rod damage, and the corrosion-resistant nitrided rod, self-aligning to accept normal die movement and a degree of sideload without damaging cylinder seal surface. The TNKB spring is offered in four sizes from 1000 to 6600, and in strokes to 200mm/7.87 in.

The TNKB incorporates an SAE-4 (7/16-20) port to accommodate standard full size hoses, and has six flanges available for mounting.
