Plymouth, MI-Forward Industries makes available an updated SL stock lifter gas spring with a counterbore for rail attachments. Forward Industries designs and manufactures standard manifold cylinders and gas springs used in metal stamping and forming operations.
The SL stock lifter eliminates the need for pins, bushings or other devices to guide the rails up and down as metal stock travels through the die. It is designed to attach to stock rails in a variety of different ways. The SL stock lifter is available with stroke lengths from 25 mm to 210 mm and the force range is easily adjustable between 112-800 lbs. The updated spring can be ordered with or without a stock lifter cap.
