Esab Introduces Three Models of G Series of Gas Regulators

Florence, SC – Victor, an ESAB brand, has introduced three new gas regulators to its G Series line: the G150 light-duty, the GT350 two-stage heavy-duty regulator and the light-duty GRF400 flow meter/regulator.

"Victor now offers a full range of regulators for users who want an alternative to the premium Victor EDGE or traditional Victor SR regulator design," says John Henderson, Global Brand Manager, ESAB. "While more affordable, G Series regulators provide the performance, safety, reliability and innovation users expect from Victor." The new regulators join the existing G250 medium-duty and G350 heavy-duty regulators

G Series regulators are available for acetylene, oxygen, LP and inert gas. Common benefits include a color combination on the gauge face that provides clarity for reading the needle position, as well as scale and red tick marks to indicated actual service pressure. A high-strength alloy bonnet provides three times the yield strength of the previous brass bonnet. The ergonomic shape of the knob makes it easier to set pressure, especially with a gloved hand, while color-coding aids with gas identification.

Victor recommends the GT350 two-stage regulator for applications that require a constant delivery pressure over a range of decreasing inlet pressures as the cylinder empties. The GRF400 is an economical alternative for users who prefer a flow meter-style regulator for light-duty MIG welding and occasional TIG welding.
