MSA Ultima® X Series of Gas Monitors Now Available in Duct-Mount Versions
The Ultima X Gas Monitor series, from the MSA Instrument Division, is now available for duct-mounted monitoring applications. The new duct-mount kit enables gas sampling even when the flow rate within the duct is at a high velocity. The kit is also sealed to prevent the gas within the duct from escaping. Users can calibrate the sensor via a calibration port without disassembling or removing the sensor from the duct.
Applications for the duct-mounted versions include HVAC monitoring of CO and CO2 for efficient building ventilation, area and process monitoring in the chemical and adhesives/coating industries, and CO2 monitoring in blanketing applications.

o Onboard LEDs and relays provide increased indication of alarm and fault conditions. "Quick-check" LEDs are easily viewable from afar, and field-programmable alarm levels and normally energized/de-energized and latching/non-latching relay functions offer three levels of alarm and a fault.
