Unlike more costly and often potentially hazardous motor-driven devices, S&K ejectors utilize a simple principle of physics - the jet - to help solve hundreds of gas and vapor handling problems throughout the oil and gas industry, such as increased production rates, product recovery, and compliance with air quality standards.



A jet compressor is a type of ejector that utilizes a jet of high-pressure gas as an operating medium to entrain a low-pressure gas, mix the two, and discharge at an intermediate pressure.  Gases can be steam, air, propane or others.  When both motive and suction gases are steam, the compressor is generally referred to as a “thermocompressor”.
