TULSA, Okla. - Hilti now offers professionals in the electrical and mechanical installation trades a complete fastening system, including a new modular pole tool and ceiling wire assemblies, for its popular GX 120-ME Gas-Actuated Fastener. Designed for a wide range of applications in a variety of base materials, this system enables contractors to speed up job productivity with quick and easy installations.
The new X-PT GX 120-ME pole tool assembly is ideal for installing various fastening elements overhead into concrete, plastered masonry, sand-lime block, concrete block and steel. Constructed of a lightweight, aluminum material, the pole tool assembly can be extended or retracted in 1- to 3-ft sections in order to accommodate individual users' height and preferences. The pole tool allows contractors using the GX 120-ME to transition from floor and wall applications to overhead installations in under 30 seconds.
