Kubota's Revolutionary Glide Steer Technology

Tight Turning Radius, Traction, Plus Power in a Premium Garden Tractor

TORRANCE, Calif. -- Kubota Tractor Corporation (KTC) introduces the all new GR Series garden tractor with Glide Steer, a revolutionary and innovative technology that is an industry first. Developed with advanced engineering, Glide Steer technology is a combination of a four-wheel drive tractor and the maneuverability similar to a zero turn mower. Glide Steer technology will give customers the two most important features they are looking for, traction and maneuverability. Equipped with the same advanced technology found in Kubota tractors, the GR Series with Glide Steer technology rises to a class above all other garden tractors.

The GR tractor traveling in a straight direction is in All Wheel Drive. When starting a turn, Glide Steer is engaged. The inside rear wheel begins to track freely, thus enabling a tight turn while preventing damage to the turf. The front wheels can turn an incredible 70 degrees, much more than other garden tractors in the marketplace. By employing the unique Glide Steer, the GR Series can easily and efficiently cut grass in the tightest areas and rough mowing conditions are effortless with All Wheel Drive traction.

In addition to Glide Steer Technology, the GR Series is equipped standard with cruise control, hydrostatic power steering, and Kubota's exclusive hydrostatic transmission (HST), which operates on a shaft drive with no belts providing exceptional durability. The oversized suspension seat makes for a comfortable ride along with the full-flat operator's platform providing plenty of leg-room, and a convenient cup holder completes the package.

The GR Series includes two models, the GR2000 and GR2100. The GR2000 is equipped with a 20-horespower, two-cylinder, air-cooled gasoline engine with a 48" mower deck, while the GR2100 includes a 21-horsepower, three-cylinder, high-performance Kubota diesel engine with a 54" mower deck. Powerful performance along with exceptional traction and a tight turning radius, sets this new GR Series apart from other models in its category.

Three optional attachments complement the GR2000 and GR2100, all with an easy on/off, quick installation design. These attachments include a 3-bag, 10-bushel grass catcher with a deck-mounted blower, a 48" front blade, and a 46" two-stage snow blower. Both homeowners and commercial operators will benefit from the professional results of the GR Series garden tractor with Glide Steer technology.

Kubota Tractor Corporation markets a complete line of tractors up to 103 PTO horsepower, along with a line of performance-matched implements, utility vehicles, construction equipment, consumer lawn and garden equipment, and commercial turf products.
