Original Press Release:

More Plug-In Capability with New Ganged Outlet

Schurter adds to its Quadbloc range with the new Quadbloc+2 (Type 4758), for greater plug-in capability. The unit consists of four ganged IEC "F" outlets and a frame, which a Schurter switch/inlet (Type KEB1) or fused inlet (Type 6200) or double fused inlet (Type 6220) can be snapped into. The module uses 2mm-type fuses. This design creates a compact, fully integrated module that allows for rapid fitting, saving on assembly time.

The busbar of the Quadbloc+2 is formed of a single piece construction and is available with 6.3mm quick-connect tabs, solder tabs, or the combination of both. The rear is housed in a black plastic cover that protects from accidental contact. For mounting, the entire unit snaps into the panel or box. Panel thicknesses range from 1mm to 3mm.

The 4758 is for class I protection (ground terminal) and the module is approved to 10A/550V VDE and 15A/250V cURus.

The unit provides power distribution for computer systems, uninterruptible power supplies and industrial control systems. Delivery is four to six weeks. Pricing is under $4.00 for 100-piece quantities.
