Future Electronics Offers Availability of Vishay's High Speed Infrared Emitting Diode VSLB9530S

Montreal, Quebec - Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, has offers availability of high speed infrared emitting diode VSLB9530S from Vishay.

VSLB9530S is an infrared, 940 nm emitting diode in GaAlAs multi-quantum well (MQW) technology with high radiant power and high speed. It is molded in a clear high power TELUX package with an oval lens resulting in angle of half intensities in vertical direction of ± 18° and in horizontal direction of ± 36°.

VSLB9530S comes in TELUX form, leaded package type with dimensions of 7.62 x 7.62 x 4.6 (L x W x H in mm) and peak wavelength of λp = 940 nm. Featuring high reliability, high radiant power, high radiant intensity, low forward voltage, it is suitable for high pulse current operation, offers good spectral matching with Si photodetectors, and is compatible with wave solder processes according to CECC 00802.

Applications include serving as an emitter source for gesture recognition applications, 3D TV, mid-range proximity detection, and object/presence detection.
