Fused Inlet Adds New Features to Proven Design
Schurter's new compact fused inlet, series 4707, is available with single or double pole slotted screw type fuseholders for 5x20mm fuses. The inlet is compact, with a 10A rating. Its two fuseholders are rated to IP65, making it ideal for applications in medical, industrial and test environments, where equipment is exposed to dust and liquids. The fuseholders are classed as PC2, according to IEC/EN 60127-6, which requires that they guard against accidental shock when the fuses are being changed.
The 4707 can be screw mounted from the front or rear of a panel. Wire terminations are 6.3mm quick-connects or solder. The inlet is designed to comply with EN 60320-1/C14, and is available in class I; class II (without ground pin) available upon request. Maximum power acceptance at ambient air temperature Ta 23 deg C is 2x1.6W. The module is 250V/10A and is VDE and cURus approved. Price is $5.82 in 500-piece quantities. Delivery 4-6 weeks.
