New, EPA-Certified ComplianceCaddy(TM) Frees Laundries to Legally Transport Solvent-Contaminated Wipes

Laundries that use ComplianceCaddy enjoy exclusion from EPA regulation

Ashtabula, OH – The new ComplianceCaddy(TM) from laundry product manufacturer Meese Orbitron Dunne Co. (MOD), Ashtabula, Ohio (www.MODLaundry.com), enables laundries, dry cleaners and other companies to meet U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requirements for processing solvent-contaminated wipes and avoid costly enforcement actions as published in the Agency's final rule under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). As stated in the Federal Register / Vol. 78, No. 147 / Wednesday, July 31, 2013 and effective Jan. 31, 2014, the new, EPA-, UN- and DOT-certified ComplianceCaddy allows solvent-contaminated, reusable and disposable wipes to be accumulated, stored and transported in a closed, non-leaking, fume-proof container that contains the free liquids, seals for transport and also alerts personnel to the presence of “Excluded Solvent-Contaminated Wipes.’’

To be unveiled at Clean '15 booth #3548 on April 16th in Atlanta, Ga., the breakthrough ComplianceCaddy accumulates the solvent-contaminated wipes on a screen set inside a rotationally molded, polyethylene container and automatically separates, drains and contains the free liquids in the container bottom. Included sorbent products in the base absorb the free liquids to permit transport for cleaning or disposal. When full or after 180 days, the ComplianceCaddy may be rolled away on its six-inch wheels and replaced with an empty unit. Choose 90- and 50-gallon capacities in the mobile ComplianceCaddy and a 90-gallon, forkliftable ComplianceCaddy offered without the mobility setup. ComplianceCaddy stacks when empty for efficient storage and transport.
