'GS4P' Fume and Dust Collector for Plasma and Laser Tables Combines High Efficiency with Ease of Use

Jonesboro, Ark., February 2005- A new "GS4P Gold Series Package" fume and dust collector that controls emissions from plasma and laser cutting tables combines high efficiency filtration with ease of use. The collector comes as a fully assembled and pre-wired unit with fan, controls, filters and automatic reverse pulse cleaning system. The user need only remove it from the shipping container and plug it in.

The GS4P collector is available with two fan options: 5 hp (1,500 cfm at 10" w.c.) for plasma tables, and 7.5 hp (2,500 cfm at 10" w.c.) for laser tables. The unit contains four high efficiency, fire-retardant filter cartridges with a rated efficiency of 99.99 percent on 0.5 micron particles, usually allowing recirculation of air through the plant for energy savings. The four cartridges have a total media area of 1,300 sq. ft., delivering long-life performance in an extremely compact unit.

The collector is made of rugged 10 and 7-gauge steel, with an easy-to-open access door and modular construction that allows component orientations to be changed to fit individual needs. Special maintenance features include a spark trap inlet for fire prevention, easy-to-remove dust drawers, and a cam-lock system that allows easy cartridge removal with no tools required.
