Flambeau® Fluids Introduces Second Generation CARB and EPA Compliant Fuel Caps



Flambeau® Fluid Systems is proud to introduce 2.25" (5.71 cm) and 3.50" (8.89 cm) fuel caps. These caps replace the first generation CARB caps and meet both EPA and CARB standards. Flambeau is also pleased to have received EPA certificates of conformity allowing customers to utilize the low permeation levels of these caps, which are significantly below the baseline EPA standard of FEL 30 g/m^2/day at 28°C. These caps are introduced with a high level of confidence in their performance based upon completion of Flambeau's DVPR validation process.

    CARB Certifications:

    Meets CARB Fuel Cap Standard Performance Title 13 Section 2756. Only non-vented caps can be used with CARB requirements.

    Warranty: (2) years per EPA requirement.

    Customary standard fuel caps for Small, Off-Road Equipment (SORE) are no longer the acceptable industry standard. Based on CARB and EPA agency specifications Flambeau has engineered and released the new compliant cap designs which, as part of fuel system, work to minimize evaporative emissions.
