The Illuminator M4500

The MIDAC Illuminator is a compact (16" x 9" x 8") FTIR module that integrates well with a variety of sample interfaces in virtually any configuration. Inside each Illuminator is an IR source and interferometer which provide a collimated output beam. The rugged module can be coupled with any sampling accessory equipped with its own IR detector to create a compact dedicated analyzer.

Alternatively, the Illuminator's internal IR source can be replaced with a detector module for emissions work, or for use with an external IR source. The unit can be powered by a 12 volt battery as an alternative to standard AC power, enabling use in remote or field applications.

Data collection, post processing and report generation are provided by Grams/32-AI software from Galactic, or by MIDAC's AutoQuant Pro(TM) package which adds powerful, real-time multi-component analysis capability for continuous monitoring applications.
