New Technology Empowers Corporations and Law Firms to Quickly Index, Search and Cull Large Data sets at the Beginning of the Electronic Discovery Process

The Company also announced a business and technology partnership with X1 Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of user-centric desktop and enterprise search solutions.
Ringtail QuickCull
Ringtail QuickCull, electronic discovery software from FTI -- powered by X1 Search -- allows users to index, search and cull large data sets prior to processing and review which saves time at the beginning of a matter.

Faster and more efficient than outsourcing the initial review or relying on a set of multiple pre-processing technologies, Ringtail QuickCull offers search and review capabilities for comprehensive culling within hours of collection.

are distributed across multiple servers. Processing tasks include
content indexing, data exchange and document processing. The Ringtail
Processing Framework facilitates rapid system capacity and efficiency
increases as case sizes, number of cases and number of users grow.
o Ringtail OCR-on-the-Fly(TM) -- offering an on-demand optical character
recognition (OCR) feature for reviewers. The feature is massively
scalable, and offers detailed reporting and status notifications for
OCR tasks.
o Ringtail Data Exchange(TM) -- allowing users to rapidly import and
export large document populations from the Ringtail user interface,
boosting performance by as much as ten times. Significantly, the
Ringtail Data Exchange will support the complete set of Ringtail
metadata, greatly enhancing the migration of documents between Ringtail
cases and integration with third party tools.
o Ringtail Analytics(TM) -- providing critical leverage for lawyers by
producing detailed, defensible information about the content and
structure of a document collection. This is essential information for
early and accurate case assessment. Using a cube-based dashboard,
Ringtail Analytics provides the ability to create statistical reports
to "zoom" into document sets, thereby pinpointing relevant data faster,
and to monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of document reviews.
