AEC-204 4-Slot Micro Box Chassis for Half-Size CPU Cards
The AEC-204 industrial wallmount chassis is a high-powered ultra-compact 4-slot chassis designed to provide an environmentally secure housing for embedded control systems and other space critical applications. It supports PCI, PCI-ISA and ISA passive backplanes and can accept most half-size ISA/PCI-ISA bus CPU cards. The AEC-204 reserves space for one RS-232 and one parallel port, and has room for both a 3.5" hard-drive and a 3.5" floppy-drive; or one slim floppy drive, slim CD-ROM and one 3.5" hard drive. Three different backplanes and combination of power supplies are standard in the barebones version. Also included is a 150-watt power supply. This allows you to use more powerful boards with high-power requirements such as Pentium III and Celeron-based PC boards. Its rugged, sturdy, full-sealed steel chassis and well-conceived ventilation are designed to withstand heavy shock, rumbling vibration, humidity and dust commonly found in harsh industrial environments.
