Fortress Locks up at Pack Expo 2011
Erlanger, K.Y. - Fortress Interlocks will be exhibiting its safety access and control systems at Pack Expo 2011, September 26-28 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (Las Vegas, Nev.). The Fortress exhibit at booth 5709 will include its mGard, amGard and eGard products, designed to safeguard packaging and processing equipment.
Several Fortress safety interlock applications will be demonstrated in use on a robotic cell during the exposition. To mechanically safeguard dangerous machines and hazardous processes, the mGard line of trapped key interlocks provides access control without the need for wiring. For electro-mechanical guarding, the amGard range offers a modular system that is easy to configure to site specifications. With over 4 trillion possible combinations, the eGard line provides the most flexibility in combining mechanical trapped key interlocks, electrical safety gate switch interlocks and electrical operator controls to form a completely custom system.
