Silicone Free Gasket Maker Reduces Production Time In Flange Assemblies
BRIDGEWATER, NJ - PERMABOND® HH190, is a high strength, high viscosity, silicone-free anaerobic Gasketmaker® which replaces traditional pre-cut gaskets for flange assemblies.
PERMABOND HH190 forms an instant, pressure resistant, leak-free seal, and allows for adjustment up to 60 minutes after assembly. Unlike rubber gaskets, this anaerobic form-in-place gasket allows for metal-to-metal contact eliminating the problem of re-torquing. It is non-flammable and is suitable for high-speed
production.
HH120 is a purple, flowable paste, with a viscosity of 200,000 cP. It has a fixture time of 90 minutes and obtains full cure in 24 hours. On a steel-to-steel application, HH190 provides a shear strength of 900 psi, and a full seal strength of >5000 psi. When fully cured, HH190 resists most chemicals including motor oil, hydrocarbon test fluid, and butyl alcohol.
HH190 is available in 50ml tubes, 300ml cartridges, and 1 liter bottles.
