Form-In-Place Silicone Free Gasket Reduces Production Time
SOMERSET, NJ - Permabond® Gasketmaker® HH190, is a high strength, high viscosity, silicone-free anaerobic that replaces traditional pre-cut gaskets for flange assemblies.
Permabond HH190 forms an instant, pressure resistant, leak-free seal, and allows for adjustment up to 60 minutes after assembly. Unlike other gaskets, this anaerobic form-in-place gasket allows for metal-to-metal contact eliminating the problem of re-torquing. It is non flammable and is suitable for high-speed production.
Permabond HH190 has a high viscosity of 200,000cPs, but is a flow able purple paste for ease of application. It fixtures in 90 minutes and fully cures in 24 hours for a steel to steel shear strength of 900 psi and a full seal strength of >5000 psi. Fully cured HH190 resists most common chemical including motor oil, hydrocarbon test fluid and butyl alcohol.
