A Stainless Steel, Forklift Truck With An Integrated Weighing System And Touch Panel PC

noax Technologies is introducing a new type of forklift truck with integrated weighing system and touch panel PC. The new stainless steel, fork lift truck "Robusto" was specially designed for mobile in-house logistics and weighing applications in a hygienic environment, such as the food industry.

The new stainless steel, forklift truck with integrated weighing system and tough touch panel PC allows for effective mobile in-house logistics and weighing of incoming or outgoing inventory, as well as storage and refrigeration applications. Previously acquired operational data is sent directly to the material management system.

Diverse peripheral units, such as scanners and printers can be connected by means of various interfaces. Bar-code labels can also be scanned and printed out on location.

Stainless steel, forklift trucks: rugged, easy and maneuverable
The basis of the mobile weighing and in-house logistics unit is a forklift truck, made of electrolytic polished, stainless steel 1.4301 (304). "Robusto" has a fork width of 21¼" and a fork length of 46.85". The hydraulic lift system is outfitted with user-friendly soft damping and a quick-lift mechanism. If desired, the "Robusto" can also be outfitted with a ramming safety feature, lockable foot brake, tandem rollers, as well as stainless steel bearings. In addition, the "Robusto" is available with an electro-walking forklift, having a top speed of approx. 3.6 mph, as well with an integrated passenger platform. However, the uniqueness of the forklift truck is the make-up of the en-closure design for the highly efficient Akku Pack, which is the basis for inclusion of the mobile, in-house logistics and weighing units. Diverse peripheral units, such as printers and scanners also have room in the stainless steel enclosure.

Mobile tough computer with integrated weighing module and WLAN

A waterproof, completely sealed 12" stainless steel computer with a heating system, produced by noax Technologies for inputting, weighing and data processing, is located directly on the forklift truck. The efficient, waterproof computer with Pentium M technology was developed especially for hygienically sensitive environmental conditions. The tough industrial computer can be augmented with weighing modules of various manufacturers if desired. The computer can even be delivered as a calibration-ready unit, if required.

Pentium M technology in a compact and completely enclosed stainless steel industrial computer enclosure

The noax terminal combines high performance, an extensive choice of on-board interfaces, as well as diverse expansion possibilities using standard slots, arranged in the smallest space. The industrial computer is available with an Intel Celeron 1.0 GHz or an Intel Pentium M 1.4 GHz. In addition, RAM can be upgraded to 2 GB and the hard disk can be upgraded from 30 to 60 GB. It is also standard that the board can support numerous on-board interfaces, such as 2 x RS 232 (optional RS 433 or 485, TTY), 5 x USB 2.0, Network Ethernet (RJ 45) 10/100/1000, LPT, Monitor-DVI, PS/2 and floppy connections. In addition, the computer allows for diverse expansion possibilities by on-board slots for 2 x PCI slots, compact flash type II and mini PCI sockets. The connection of peripheral systems, such as WLAN, readers, scanners and printers is simple and uncomplicated. This means that diverse operations, such as data transfer to the WWS, can be accomplished with only one operational step.
