Fork Sensor provides accuracy for labeling applications.

Press Release Summary:

Model GS 06 features integrated alternating light, which virtually eliminates labeling errors due to interference of outside light sources. Gap widths of 2 and 5 mm and switching frequency of 8 kHz ensure small gaps between labels will be detected. Push/pull outputs allow sensor to be connected to PNP or NPN control systems, and integrated light/dark switching feature allows optimum adjustment to control system. Sensor uses M8 or M12 round connectors.

Leuze Lumiflex : GS 06

Extreme Accuracy and Reliability for Labeling Applications

Leuze Lumiflex's GS 06 is the worlds first fork sensor to feature an integrated alternating light, a feature which virtually eliminates labeling errors due to the interference of outside light sources. With gap widths of 2 and 5 mm's, detection of a wide range of labels is assured. This, along with the high switching frequency of 8 kHz ensures that even the smallest gaps between labels will still be reliably detected with a high degree of accuracy. User friendly operation is assured with the utilization of a single button to adjust the sensor for simple applications or multi-turn potentiometer models for extremely precise sensor settings. The GS 06 is fitted with push / pull outputs allowing the sensor to be connected to either PNP or NPN control systems, has an integrated light / dark switching feature which allows optimum adjustment to the control system and uses either M8 or M12 round connectors for ease of installation.
